Date Format

The date format applicable to the login user.

Leave Administration Unit

The organization unit where the leave administration component has been deployed to administer leave for all the employees mapped to the interacting employment units.

Application No.

A unique number generated by the system, when the bulk leave application was entered for the employees in the “Apply for Leave-Group” activity.

Application Status

The status of the leave application. It could be one of the following: “Pending for Authorization – Create”, “Pending for Authorization – Cancel” or “Authorized”.

Requested Leave Units

The number of units of leave that was requested in the “Apply for Leave-Group” activity.

Leave Type

From the drop-down list box, select the type of leave that the group of employees requires.

For example, the leave type can be casual leave, privilege leave or sick leave. Tell me more.

Requested Date

Enter the date on which the leave has been requested.

Leave From

Enter the date from which the employees are going on leave.

For example, if the group of employees has applied for leave from 5th of August 2004, enter the leave date as 5th August 2004.  

Leave To

Enter the date until which the group of employees has applied for leave. 

For example, if the group of employees has applied for leave until 10th of August 2004, enter the leave date as 10th August 2004.  

From Session

From the drop-down list box, select the required session from which the group of employees has applied for leave. The sessions can be first, second, third or general.  .

To Session

From the drop-down list box, select the required session until which the group of employees will be on leave.

Time From

The time from which the group of employees have applied for leave. 

For example, if the group of employees wants to take leave on 8th August 2002, from 11 a.m., mention 11 a.m. in the “from time” field. 

Time To

The time until which the group of employees have applied for leave. 

For example, if the group of employees wants to take leave on 8th August 2002, until 2 p.m. mention 2 p.m. in the “to time” field. 

Expected Date of Return

The date on which the employees are expected to be back from leave.

If “expected date of return” has not been specified, the system automatically generates the expected the date of return from the “leave from” and “to date” that have been specified.

For example, if the group of employees has requested leave from 5th August 2004 to 10th August 2004, the system will automatically generate 11th August 2004 as the “expected date of return”. 

 

From the drop-down list box to the right of this field, select the session at which the group of employees are expected to return. The sessions can be first, second, third or general.  .

Leave Reason

From the drop-down list box, select the reason for which the leave has been applied. 

Additional Reason

The other reasons for leave request, if any.

Employee Code

The unique code of each employee who wants to apply for  leave.

Help Available

The system displays the following.

Employee Name

If you selected the employee name through the Help icon, the name of the employee is automatically retrieved.

Comments

Any comments about the leave application. 

To delete a leave application for a group

The bulk leave application is deleted.
