City Classifications – A summary of the activity

Through this activity, you can group cities under a classification. For example, cites like Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai etc. can be grouped under “Metro” classification. This classification is necessary, as the computation of various allowances like House rent allowance (HRA), depends on the city in which the employee resides.

This activity involves

• Selecting a city classification  

• Mapping the various cities/ towns to the selected  “City Classification”.
