Screen Resumes - A summary of the activity
Through this activity, you as a line manager (HOD) can process resumes.
You can hire a suitable applicant by overlooking the evaluation process, if the manpower requirement is compelling. You can hold back a resume against a RFH for a predetermined period to prevent it from being used by other RFHs. After the given period, the resume is released for use by other RFHs. A resume can be rejected if not found suitable for a vacancy. The actions you can take on resumes in this activity are as follows:
Quick Hired, which means you select the applicant for employment. The status is set to “Quick Hired". You record the details of appointment in the Applicant Selection page.
Reserved for Evaluation, which means the resume is attached to the RFH exclusively for evaluation. The status is set to “Reserved".You record the details of the interview in Interview Evaluation page.
Rejected by Line Manager, which means the resume is unsuitable for the vacancy. The status is set to “Rejected by Line Manager".
You can also post a new resume to a vacancy in this activity or choose a resume from the talent bank and post it to a vacancy.
At any point of time, a resume can be attached to a single RFH only.
