Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user. More Details

Employee

The code and name of the employee whose non-regular employee assignment details you are viewing.

Date of Joining

The date on which the employee joined.

Assignment No

The non-regular employee assignment number that has been allocated for the employee, in sequential order.

Employee status

The status of the employee.

Assignment Type

The type of assignment undertaken by the employee. One of the following options is displayed: “New Hire”, “Rehire” or “Change in Assignment”. If it is:

“New Hire”, it denotes that the employee is new to the organization.

“Re-Hire”, it indicates that the employee has been hired again after leaving the organization.

Reason for Change in Assignment

The reason for which the employee changes his/her assignment.

Assignment Effective From

The date from which the assignment is in effect.

Assignment Effective To

The date till which the assignment will be in effect.

Position

The position held by the employee.

Regulatory Region

The regulatory region applicable for the employment unit to which the employee is attached.

Employment Unit

The employment unit to which the employee is attached.

Work Location

The name of the place where the employment unit is located, for example, Los Angeles, Chicago etc.

Company

The system displays the name of the company corresponding to the values specified for the above details.

Business Unit

The business unit applicable to the employment unit.

Hierarchy Short Description

The short description of the hierarchy applicable to the non-regular employee assignment.

Hierarchy Chain

The hierarchy chain to which the hierarchy pertains.

Department

The department applicable to the hierarchy.

Cost Center

The cost center applicable to the hierarchy.

Job

The code of the job applicable to the non-regular employee assignment.

Job Description

The description of the job applicable to the non-regular employee assignment.

Job Level Description

The job level to which the job applicable to the non-regular employee assignment belongs. The Job level represents the relative position of the job with respect to other jobs in the Organization Unit structure. For e.g. Level 1 can be CEO, Level 2 can be Vice President etc.

Job Family

Job family is a group of similar jobs, for example, all Managerial jobs can be grouped under a single family and all Executive jobs can be grouped in a different family etc.

EEO Class

The EEO class stands for Equal Employment Opportunity class. It indicates whether the job is open to qualified employees irrespective of nationality, language, gender etc. Some jobs may be restricted to native employees in which case it will not come under the EEO class.

Grade Set

Jobs are classified into different grade sets for different purposes. A grade set is a means of classification by which different people in the company are grouped together, according to their responsibilities, perquisites, facilities, etc. Examples of grade sets are Trainees, Supervisors, Executives and Clerical Staff.

Grade

Grade indicates the hierarchy within a grade set.

Job Classification

The classification of the specified job. The job classification indicates if the corresponding job is a permanent, temporary or contract job.  The job classifications are user-defined using the Quick Codes component.

Working Condition

Indicates if the work associated with the position or job for which the employee is being rehired, involves hazardous conditions or otherwise. The conditions of work are user-defined.

Worker’s Compensation Code

Worker’s Compensation Code indicates the compensation terms and conditions applicable in the event of an injury, permanent disability or death of an employee while discharging his/her service.

Salaried/Hourly

Indicates if the compensation for the position is through regular salary or computed on an hourly basis. “Salaried” indicates that the employee holding the position will be paid regular salary, “Hourly” indicates that the remuneration for the position being edited would be calculated on the number of hours of work.

Standard Hours

The number of working hours that the work involves regularly. For example, the position might require the employee to work for 8 hours a day or 5 hours a day etc.

Work Experience

The number of years of experience required for the job.

Medical Check Required

Indicates if medical check is required for the specified job.

Medical Check Requirements

The medical check requirement criteria that the employee must meet to be eligible for the designated job. For example, physical fitness is a prerequisite for a job in the military. By default, the system displays the medical check requirements predefined for the specified job code.

Tipped

Indicates if the employee holding the specified job is entitled for receiving tips from customers or otherwise. For example, if the employee is being rehired as a Waiter or Chauffeur, he/she may be permitted to accept tips from customers.

Mobile

Indicates if the job involves traveling or otherwise. For example, an employee hired as a sales or marketing executive may have to travel frequently for product promotion or on routine marketing work.

FTE

Full Time Equivalent of the job (If the regular working hours are 8 hrs/day, and if two employees are employed part-time for 4 hours and 6 hours respectively, then their FTE would be 0.5 and 0.75 respectively).

Regular/Temporary

Indicates if the job is a regular job or temporary contract job for a limited period etc.

Full/Part Time

Indicates if the job is full time or a part time job.

Supervisor

The supervisor to whom the employee is reporting.

Assignment No

The assignment number of the supervisor

Position

The position held by the supervisor

Department

The department to which the supervisor belongs.

Job Title

The title of the job held by the supervisor.

Union Affiliation

The description of the union to which the employee is affiliated to.

Group

The group pertaining to the union.

Description

The description of the group.

Comments

Any additional comments entered pertaining to the details.
