Selecting grievance to record legal action details
Select the “Record Legal Action Details” link from the left pane.
The “Select Grievance to Record Legal Action Details” page appears.
Enter the following
Grievance Administration Unit |
From the drop-down list box, select the grievance administration unit. |
The system displays the following
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
To select through Direct Entry
Use this method if you know the grievance number
Grievance No. |
Enter the grievance number. |
To select through Search Criteria
In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Employment Unit |
From the drop-down list, select the employment unit for which you require to retrieve the grievance records. This refers to the organization unit that holds the Employment Information component. |
Employee Code |
To retrieve the grievance of all employees whose employee codes contain specific characters, type in the character(s) in any combination with wild cards. Example. ECC1*, will search for those employee codes that start with ECC1. Other examples are *ECC1 and EC*C1. |
Employee Name |
To retrieve the grievance records of all employees whose employee names contain specific characters, type in the character(s) of these employee names in any combination with wild cards. Example, Rob*, will search for those employee names that start with Rob. Other examples are *Rob and R*b*. |
Assignment No. |
To retrieve all grievance records with a specific assignment number, type in the assignment number. Alternatively, type in the digit(s) in any combination with wild cards. |
Grievance No. |
To retrieve a particular grievance record with a specific grievance number, enter the grievance number. Alternatively, type in the digit(s) in any combination with wild cards. |
Grievance Type |
From the drop-down list, select the grievance type to retrieve the grievance records of all the employees holding a specific grievance. For example the type of Grievance could be Union/Employee. |
Current Status |
From the drop-down list, select any one of the following options to retrieve the grievance records with this current status.

Submission Date |
Enter the date on which the grievance was submitted, to retrieve the records of all the employees whose grievance has been submitted on the specific date. |
Grievance Logged by |
Enter the employee name, to retrieve the records of the grievance logged by a particular employee. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
The multiline displays the following details that satisfy your search criteria
Employment Unit |
The employment unit to which the employee belongs |
Employee Code |
The employee code of the employee |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee |
Assign. |
The assignment number of the employee. |
Grievance No. |
The unique number of the grievance. |
Grievance Type |
The type of grievance. For example the type of Grievance could be Union/Employee. |
Current Status |
The current status could be any one of the following.

Submission Date |
The date on which the grievance was submitted. |
Grievance Logged by |
The employee name of the person who logged the grievance. |
Select “Record Legal Action Details” hyperlink, to record the grievances if you have chosen the direct entry mode.
Select the hyperlinked grievance number in the multiline, if you have chosen the search criteria mode of entry.
