Ensure that you are in the “Edit Local” page .
The system displays the following details at the top of the page:
HR General Information Unit |
The organization unit in which the HR General Information component is deployed. Tell me more |
Language |
The language you selected in the previous page is displayed. |

From the “Language” drop-down list box, you can select any other language, to retrieve the record in this language. |
Country |
The country to which the local being edited is applicable to. |
State |
The name of the state in the specified country, to which the local being edited is applicable. |
Local Type |
The description of the local type applicable to the specified country/state combination. |
Local Code |
The unique code of the selected local type. |
You can edit the following details of the local type.
Local Short Description |
The short description for the selected local type. |
Local Name |
The name of the local type. |
Inactive |
The active or inactive status of the local type details. You can activate or deactivate the details, whenever necessary. If the details are in active status, it indicates that they are available for use in other activities. |

Comments |
The comments entered pertaining to the details. |
Select the Book icon beside the “Comments” field. The system displays a dialog box containing the comments specified, if any.
You can view, add or edit the content.
Select the “OK” pushbutton to save the details and return to the previous page.
Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page without saving the details entered.
Select the “Save” pushbutton at the bottom of the page.
Select the “Delete” pushbutton at the bottom of the page. The record should not have been used in any transactions.
