Select the “View Employee Rehire” hyperlink beside the employee code field.
The system displays the “View Employee Rehire” page.
Use the search facility to fetch the required records in the multiline.
Select the data hyperlink on the name of the required employee.
The “View Employee Rehire” page appears.
The system displays the following details on top of the page.
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. More Details. |
Employee |
The employee name and code you specified in the “Select Employee to View Rehire” page. |
Date of Joining |
The date on which the corresponding employee joined. |
Pending With |
The code and name of the supervisor with whom the rehire record is pending with for authorization. |
Assignment No. |
The assignment number applicable to the employee. |
Eligible for Rehire |
Indicates if the employee is eligible for rehire or otherwise. The system displays the recorded value such as, “Yes” or “No” to indicate if the employee is eligible for rehire or otherwise. “Yes” indicates the employee is eligible for rehire, “No” indicates otherwise. |
Rehire Date |
The date and time, on which the employee was rehired. |
Reason for Rehire |
The reason for which the employee has been rehired. |
Position |
The position for which the separated employee is being rehired. |
The system displays the following organizational attribute details of the employee in the corresponding fields in the “Organizational Attributes” group box.
Regulatory Region |
The regulatory region applicable to the employment and business units and the work location for which the employee has been rehired. |
Business Unit |
The business unit for which the employee has been rehired. |
Employment Unit |
The employment unit for which the employee has been rehired. |
Work Location |
The work location for which the employee has been rehired. |
Company |
The name of the company for which the employee has been rehired. |
Department |
The unique code of the department, for example, HR, or Finance for which the employee has been rehired. |
Cost Center |
The description of the cost center to which the costs of the specified department are currently assigned. |
The system displays the following job attributes of the employee in the corresponding fields in the “Job Attributes” group box.
Job |
The job code of the selected employee. |
Job Description |
The description of the corresponding job. |
Job Level Description |
The description of the job level applicable to the corresponding job. |
Job Family |
The job family applicable to the corresponding job. |
EEO Class |
Indicates the Equal Employment Class Opportunity nature of the corresponding job. It indicates if the corresponding job is open to all qualified employees irrespective of gender, language, nationality, and ethnicity or otherwise. |
Grade Set |
The grade set applicable for the selected employee. |
Grade |
The grade applicable for the selected employee. |
Job Classification |
The classification of the specified job. The job classification indicates if the corresponding job is a permanent, temporary or contract job. |
Working Condition |
Indicates if the work associated with the position or job for which the employee is being rehired, involves hazardous conditions or otherwise |
Worker’s Compensation Code |
The worker’s compensation code, associated to the employee being rehired. Worker’s Compensation Code indicates the compensation terms and conditions applicable to an employee in the event of an injury, permanent disability or death while discharging his/her services. This indicates that the compensation terms and conditions corresponding to the specified code will be applicable to the employee holding the job. |
Salaried/Hourly |
Indicates if the compensation for the job is through regular salary or computed on an hourly basis. The system displays the specified value, either “Salaried” or “Hourly”. “Salaried” indicates that the employee being rehired will be paid regular salary, “Hourly” indicates that the remuneration would be calculated on the number of hours spent in doing the job. |
Standard Hours |
The number of working hours that the work for which the employee is being rehired, involve. For example, the job might require the employee to work for 8 hours a day or 5 hours a day. The system displays the number of standard working hours in the field and the qualifying unit such as, per day, and per week beside. |
Work Experience |
The number of years of work experience required for the job. Specify the number of years/months of work experience in the field and select the appropriate value viz., “Months”, “Years” from the drop-down list box beside. |
Medical Check Required |
Indicates if the job for which the employee is being rehired entails medical examination. The system displays the values “Yes” or “No” to indicate if medical check is required or otherwise. |
Medical Check Requirements |
The medical requirement criteria that the employee must meet to be eligible for the corresponding job. |
Select the Book icon beside the comments field.
The system displays a dialog box containing the comments previously specified, if any.

Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to close the dialog box and return to the previous page.
Tipped |
Indicates if the employee holding the specified job is entitled for receiving tips from customers or otherwise. For example, if the employee is being rehired as a Waiter or Chauffeur, he/she may be permitted to accept tips from customers. “Yes” indicates the job involves tips, “No” indicates otherwise. |
Mobile |
Indicates if the job involves traveling or otherwise. For example, an employee rehired as a sales or marketing executive may have to travel frequently for product promotion or on routine marketing work. “Yes” indicates that the job involves traveling, “No” indicates otherwise. |
FLSA |
From the drop-down list box, select the required value, either “Exempt” or “Non Exempt”. |
SIC Code |
The SIC code. |
FTE |
Full Time Equivalent. |
Regular/Temporary |
The system displays the values, either “Regular” or “Temporary” to accordingly indicate if the job is regular or temporary. |
Full/Part Time |
The system displays the values, either “Full Time” or “Part Time” to accordingly indicate if the employee is being rehired for a full time or part time job. |
The system displays the details of the supervisor to whom the employee being rehired must report to in the “’Reporting To” group box.
Supervisor Code |
The unique employee code of the supervisor to whom the employee being rehired must report to. |
Assignment No |
The assignment number of the supervisor. |
Position Title |
The title of the position of the supervisor. |
Department |
The department of the supervisor. |
Job Title |
The title of the supervisor’s job. |

Hierarchy Short Description |
The short description of the point at which the employee is placed in the hierarchy of an organization. |
Hierarchy Chain Code |
The unique code of the hierarchy chain applicable to the employee’s job. |

Union Affiliation |
The name of the union to which the employee will be associated. |
Group |
The benefit group to which the employee will belong. |
Description |
The description of the union. |
Comments |
The additional comments entered with regard to the rehiring of the employee. |
