Map Components To App Server

This activity allows you to map the Application Server and the OU-Component-Shadow mapping. You can specify the OU-Component details as OUInstance Name, Component name and Shadow ID.

Select the “Map Components to App Server” link under the “Deployment Process” business component.

The “Map Components To App Server” page appears.

- Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

Enter the following details in the header:

App Server ID

The Id represents the resource id of the Application Server.

To fetch the components details for mapping with application manager

Click the “Fetch OU Component details” push button to fetch the component details.
The system fetches all OU (Organization Unit) component details and displays in the multiline.
Enter the following details in the multiline:

OU Instance

The unique name identifying the Organization Unit (OU) Instance which is mapped with the component.

The system displays the following details in the multiline

OU Instance Desc.

The detailed description of OU Instance.

Enter the following details in the multiline:

Component Name

The unique name identifying the component which is mapped with the OUInstance.

The system displays the following details in the multiline

Comp. Desc

The detailed description of the company.

Enter the following details in the multiline:

Shadow ID

Shadow ID always has the value of ‘0’.

To map the components with application server

Click the “Map the Components to the application server” push button to map the component details with the application server.
