Map Components To Resource Manager

This activity allows you to map the Resource Manager (RM) and the Organization Unit (OU) – Component along with the Primary Database (DB).
Select the “Map Components to RM Manager” link under the “Deployment Process” business component.
The “Map Components To Resource Manager” page appears.
- Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help
page of the respective field.
Enter the following details in the header:

Resource ID |
The ID represents the resource id of the Resource Manager server. |
To view the components details for mapping with resource manager
Click the “View Component to RM Mapping” push button to fetch the resource details.
Enter the following details in the multiline:

OU Instance |
The unique name identifying the organization unit instance for which the resource manager server has to be mapped. Mandatory |
The system displays the following details in the multiline

OU Instance Desc. |
The description of the organization unit instances. |

Component Name |
The unique name identifying the component associated with the organization unit has to be mapped to the resource manager. Mandatory |
The system displays the following details in the multiline

The description of the component. |

The database detail to which the respective component’s application database to be stored. |
To map the components with resource manager
Click the “Map Components to Resource Manager” push button to save the resource details.
The system maps the component associated with OU to the Resource Manager Server.
