Maintaining user defined parameters
This page allows you to maintain the user defined parameters. Tell me more.
Select the “Maintain User Defined Parameters” link under the “Supplier Rating” business component.
The “Maintain User Defined Parameters” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following field in the “Rating Level” group box:
Location |
Use the drop-down list box to select the location, which is set as the rating level for performing the supplier rating. Mandatory. The system lists all the locations as defined in the “Storage Administration” business component. |
Note: If any user-defined parameter information such as “Parameters”, “Status” and “Remarks” already exists for the selected location, the system retrieves and displays the details in the ”Parameter Details” multiline.
Enter the following fields in the “Parameter Details” multiline:
Note: You can enter the details in the multiline either for creating a new user-defined parameter, or for modifying the details of existing user-defined parameters.
Parameter |
The textual description of the user defined parameter (Alphanumeric, 40).This field cannot be left blank. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the user-defined parameter. The system lists the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Set this field to “Inactive” if you wish to disable the user-defined parameter from future reference in other activities. |
Remarks |
Any further information pertaining to the user-defined parameter (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the user-defined parameter details (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Note: Ensure that the user-defined parameter is unique in the multiline.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the user-defined parameter.
Click the “Maintain Parameters” pushbutton, to update the details of the newly created or modified user-defined parameter.
The system updates the details of the user-defined parameters along with their status.
Maintaining user defined parameters – An overview
In this page, you can define various user-defined parameters based on which supplier rating can be computed. You can specify the location for which user-defined parameters are created. For the selected location, you can create or modify the details of the user-defined parameter and also activate or inactivate the user-defined parameter.
If the user-defined parameter is newly created for the location, you can enter the parameter, status and remarks. If the user-defined parameter already exists in the location, the system allows you to modify the parameter details, status and remarks.
You can also inactivate a user-defined parameter, to disable it from future reference in other activities.
The system stores the login ID of the user along with the other details.
