Using online help

Using this page you can view the details of all the serial numbers of the part attached to all the position codes and level codes in the aircraft. The system considers all the serial numbers of the part attached to the position and level codes with Attachment Status “Attached”, irrespective of the “Component Mandatory” field set as “Yes” or “No” for the Position/Level Code in the “Build Component Configuration” activity of the “Configuration” business component.

The “View Aircraft Onwing Quantity Information” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Part Details” group box:

Note: For the specified part number, the system retrieves and displays the part description, part category, part type and part control type from the “Part Administration” business component.

Part #

The number identifying the part, for which the details are displayed.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Aircraft On-Wing Qty

The total number of serial numbers of the part attached to all the position codes and level codes in the aircraft.

Part Category

The category of the part.

Part Type

The type of the part, which could be “Component”.

Part Control Type

The method by which the part is controlled in the warehouse, which could be “Serial controlled”.

The system displays the following in the “Aircraft Onwing Quantity Details” multiline:

Aircraft Reg #

The code identifying the registration number of the aircraft to which the part-serial is attached.

Aircraft Model #

The code identifying the model to which the aircraft is associated.

Level #

The code identifying the position code level.

Position Code

The position code where the part is attached.

Serial #

The serial number of the part which is attached to the position code in the aircraft.

Component #

The component number of the part attached to the position code in the aircraft.

ATA #

The ATA number of the position code.
