Viewing the impact of standard cost revaluation
This page allows you to view the location wise impact of the standard cost revaluation. You can select a part number for which you wish to view the outcome of revaluation. The current stock value and the new stock value of the selected part are displayed for all the warehouses across various organization units.
Select the “View Value Impact – Stocking Location wise” link at the bottom of the “View Standard Cost Revaluation” page.
The “View Value Impact” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Revaluation Details” group box:
Revaluation # |
The number identifying the revaluation document for which you wish to view the impact. |
Enter the following in the “Part Selection” group box:
Part # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the part number, for which you wish to view the impact of revaluation. The system lists all the parts of the document, on which revaluation is performed. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the part details.
The system displays the following in the “Part Details” group box:
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Base Currency |
The base currency as defined in the “Create Currency Information” of the “Enterprise Set Up” business component |
Current Standard Cost |
The Old standard cost of the part . |
New Standard Cost |
The new standard cost of the part. |
The system displays the following in the “Stock Value Details” multiline:
Stocking Location |
The name of the organization unit. |
Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse specific to the Stocking Location, for which the revaluation results are displayed. |
Current Stock Quantity |
The total quantity of the stock as maintained in the system corresponding to that Particular Location and Warehouse #. |
Current Stock Value |
The value of the stock calculated as |
Current Stock Quantity * Current Standard Cost |

New Stock Value |
The new value of the stock calculated as |
Current Stock Quantity * New Standard Cost |

Value Difference |
The difference in value calculated as |
New Stock Value – Current Stock Value |

If the "Value Difference" calculated is negative, the value is displayed with the negative sign. For example, ”- 500”. |
