Create Standard Cost Revaluation – A summary of the activity

Revaluation of the part is performed when the standard cost of the part is modified. This activity can be used to modify the standard cost of a part, of Valuation Method “Standard Costing” only. The standard cost of the part is defined in the “Part Administration” business component, and it can be changed using this activity. Revaluation can de done for all part types such as raw material, tool, kit etc.

Revalue the part with respect to standard cost

You can create a revaluation document to modify the standard cost of the part. You can assign a numbering type, user status and a reference document number for the revaluation document. The revaluation document can belong to a specific category and the date of revaluation can be recorded.

• Use the “Create Standard Cost Revaluation” page, to enter the revaulation details of the part.

Modify the revaluation document that is already created

You can modify all the details of the revaluation document that is already created. 

• Use the “Create Standard Cost Revaluation” page, to create the revaluation document.

• Go to the “Edit Standard Cost Revaluation” page, to modify the details of the document.

Provide references to the revaluation document

You can maintain the document references for standard cost revaluation of a part.

• Use the “Create Standard Cost Revaluation” page, to create the standard cost revaluation document.

• Use the “Maintain References” page, to enter the reference details such as document name, file name and the file type.

View the impact of the standard cost revaluation

You can view the impact of the standard cost revaluation for a selected part number.
