The “Manage Component Removal Info.” page appears.

To retrieve component removal records

Search On

Use the drop-down to select the attribute based on which you want to retrieve the component removal records. The drop-down list box displays:

§  Part Group #

§  Serial #

§  Component #

§  Rem. From A/C

§  Rem. A/C Model #

§  Removal Reason

§  Removal Type

§  Removed Condition

§  Ownership

In the next drop-down list box / input box, select the option / enter value for the option.

Note: If you have selected Part Group # from the first drop-down list box, the next drop-down list box displays part groups with Purpose set as “Reliability Analysis” and Controlled? set as 'Yes'.

Removals From / To Date

The start and end dates of the period for which you want to retrieve component removal records.

The “Component Removal Details” multiline displays the following for the retrieved records.

Part #

The part removed from the NHA component / aircraft.

Serial #

The serial # of the part removed from the NHA component / aircraft.

Component #

The component for the part # - serial # removed from the NHA component / aircraft.

NHA Component #

The Next Higher Assembly from which the component was removed against the CR transaction.

Rem. from A/C Reg. #

The aircraft from which the component was removed against the CR transaction.

Rem. from A/C Model #

The aircraft model from which the component was removed against the CR transaction.

Removal Ref.

The reference against which the component was removed against the CR transaction.

Removal Ref. Doc. #

The reference document based on which the component removed from the NHA component or aircraft.

Rem. Date & Time

The date on and time at which the component was removed from which the removed from the NHA component or aircraft.

The multiline displays the following details of component removal.

Removed By

The employee who executed the component removal task.

Removal Condition

Use the drop-down list box to select condition of the component in which the component was removed from the NHA component or aircraft. The drop-down list box displays: Serviceable and Unserviceable.

Removal Reason

Use the drop-down list box to select the reason that necessitated the component removal transaction. The drop-down list box displays the both Active & Inactive removal reasons with the Reliability Analysis flag set as Required.

Removed Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the user-defined removal type. The drop-down list box displays the following: Scheduled, Unscheduled and Others.

Note: The removal type you select here must be mapped to the removal reason that you have selected in the previous field.

The multiline displays the following details of component removal.

Basic Removal

Indicates whether the component removal transaction was a basic removal as retrieved from the “View Reason for Removals” page.

Removal Comments

More information on the component removal transaction.

Status

The status of the component removal transaction.

Part Description

The description of the part.

Part Group #

The part group to which the part belongs. If the part has been tagged to multiple part groups, all the part groups will be displayed here separated by comma.

Ownership

The ownership of the component, such as Internal, Customer or Suppler.

Owning Agency #

The owning agency of the component, such as Customer # or Supplier #.

Owning Agency Name

The name of the customer # or Supplier #.

Last Modified by

The login user who most recently changed the record.

Last Modified Date & Time

The date on and time at which the login user most recently changed the record.

Note: On saving the record, the status of the latest revision # of component removal record becomes ‘Fresh’. The revision # of the record is incremented by 1. On updating and saving of a confirmed record, the status of the record becomes ‘Fresh’ and the revision is incremented by 1.  

Note: The status of the latest revision # of component removal record becomes ‘Confirmed’ while the status of the previous version of the ‘Revised’.
