Part NFF Analysis Report

Generate Reliability Report-A summary of the activity

Prerequisites

This report provides NFF information of parts for a reliability fleet. The unscheduled removals, FH and NFF for part #-serials # attached to all the aircraft in the fleet is available in the report. The same information, consolidated for each System ATA and Major System ATA  is depicted using graphs in the report.

The months for which the information is depicted in the graphs  is based on the Analysis Period attribute in the Set Options activity. For example, the March 2008 report with the Analysis Period set to ‘12’ would show data beginning April, 2007 to March, 2008.

Report input: You must select the month and year and, the reliability fleet for the report in the Generate Reliability Report page. For further information, see the “Generate  Reliability Report” topic.

Report output: This report is an Excel sheet  and consists of three worksheets,

Note: All parts for which no NFF information exists in the month of the report are excluded from the report.

See Computation of Unscheduled removals for reporting, Computation of NFF for reporting and Retrieval of FH for reporting for in-depth information.

Computation of Unscheduled removals

The Part NFF Analysis report provides consolidated information on the unscheduled removals that occur in the reported month/months  for the entire fleet. However, the unscheduled removals that satisfy the below-explained conditions only are considered for the report.

For components of every aircraft comprising the reliability fleet, the totaling of the unscheduled removals happens as follows,

For non-components of aircraft,

The Removal Basis parameter in the Set Options activity forms the basis for the inclusion of unscheduled removals in the report. If this parameter is set to “Component Replacements”, the system counts the unscheduled removals from Hangar work orders, Component work orders and Technical Logs that satisfy the following conditions,

If the Removal Basis parameter is set to “Maintenance Issue”, the number of unscheduled removals will be the sum of the following,

Computation of NFF

The NFF information pertaining to all components and non-components of each aircraft in the reliability fleet is retrieved from component work orders and Repair orders, for the report.

From Component work orders, the NFF for a part is counted for the report, if

From repair orders, the NFF for a part is counted for the report, if

The system adds the number of NFF from the component work orders as well as repair orders for a part to ascertain the total number of NFF.

Retrieval of FH

The sum of the FH for each component during the month/months  is retrieved from the PV Update, for the report. Likewise for the non-components, the FH will be,
