Deferrals & Operational Interruptions Analysis Report
This report displays the information on the discrepancy deferrals and the operational interruptions due to technical reasons, reported against a reliability fleet.
The month-wise count of deferrals of deferral types MEL and Acceptable Deferred Defects (ADD), technical delays, technical cancellations and technical substitutions recorded against each aircraft of a reliability fleet is available in the report.
The months for which information is displayed is based on the Analysis Period attribute in the Set Options activity. For example, the March 2008 report with the Analysis Period set to ‘12’ would show data beginning April, 2007 to March, 2008.
Report input: You must select the month and year and, the reliability fleet for the report in the Generate Reliability Report page. For further information, see the “Generate Reliability Report” topic.
Report output: This report is an Excel sheet and consists of two work sheets:
This worksheet displays individual graphs that depict the following information,

§ ADD: The count of ADD reported per day per aircraft in the reliability fleet. This value is derived using the formula, (Count of ADD for aircraft in the fleet) / ((Count of aircraft in the fleet) * Count of Service days)) § Six months running average of ADD Six month running average of Open ADD at the end of the month, including the reported month. |
Count of aircraft in the fleet: This is the number of aircraft mapped to the reliability fleet at the end of the reported month.
Note: The status of the aircraft and the reliability fleet must be ”Active”.
Count of Service days: This is the sum of unique service days for each aircraft in the reliability fleet. (‘Service Days’ of an aircraft is the unique count of days on which journey logs are raised with the ‘Flight Ops. Type’ attribute as ‘Regular’. If on a day, more than one journey log are available for an aircraft, with the ‘Flight Ops. Type’ attribute as ‘Regular’, then the count would be taken as “1”).
