Analyze Discrepancy Details – A summary of the activity
Through this activity, you can cleanse discrepancy data as well as include/exclude specific discrepancies from reliability analysis.
Discrepancy details including description, ATA # and remedial action can be cleansed or modified so that the reliability reports become more relevant for regulatory purposes. However, these changes do not update the discrepancy records in the Discrepancy Management and Configuration Management processes.
By default, the Upload Reliability Data activity retrieves all discrepancies from various components including Flight Log, Occurrence Reporting, Discrepancy Processing, Hangar Work Order, Component Work Order and Work Scope for reliability analysis. However, it is imperative that you explicitly indicate whether each discrepancy must be considered for reliability reporting, using this activity.
You can also indicate whether a discrepancy is recurring in nature and further classify the discrepancy for reliability reporting purposes.
