This report displays information on the incidents reported at the reliability report group and reliability fleet levels.
The months for which the information is displayed is based on the Analysis Period attribute in the Set Options activity. For example, if the report is generated for the month of March, 08, and the Analysis Period is set to ‘12’, the graph would show data beginning April, 2007 and March, 2008.
Report input: You must select the month and year and, the reliability fleet for the report in the Generate Reliability Report page. For further information, see the “Generate Reliability Report” topic.
Report output: This report is an Excel sheet and consists of two work sheets,
Graph: Displays graphs that depict the rate of Incidents at the ’Reliability Report Group’ or at ‘Reliability Fleet’ level, based on the ‘Reliability Analysis Level’ parameter defined in the ‘Set Options’ of Reliability Analysis’ business component. However, a graph is not displayed for a fleet if no incidents are reported against any of its aircraft for the reporting period.
Aircraft Incident Data Summary: Displays comprehensive details of incidents recorded against every aircraft of each fleet comprising the reliability group.
Aircraft Incidents - Reliability Report Group level: This graph displayed first, shows the month-wise rate of technical incidents for the all the reliability fleets associated with the selected reliability report group. The system generates a bar graph with the following details:
X-Axis |
Months |
Y-Axis |
The monthly rate of incidents reported for every 100 or 1000 FH for the reliability fleets in the selected reliability report group. The Rate Calculation Factor would be ‘100’ or ‘1000’ as defined in the ‘Set Options’ activity. The system computes the rate of incidents based on the following formula: Number of incidents/Sum of FH per month * 100 or 1000 |
Note: This graph would not be generated if the ‘Reliability Analysis Level’ in the ‘Set Options’ of Reliability Analysis busienss component is set as 'Reliability Fleet level'.
Aircraft Incidents - Reliability Fleet level: Following the graph at the Reliability Report Group level, separate bar graphs show the rate of technical incidents for each reliability fleet in the fleet group. The graph for the selected fleet # is displayed first, followed by the other fleets in the fleet group in the alphabetical order.

Y-Axis
|
The monthly rate of incidents reported for every 100 or 1000 FH for a Reliability Fleet. The Rate Calculation Factor would be ‘100’ or ‘1000’ as defined in the ‘Set Options’ activity. The system computes the rate of incidents based on the following formula, Number of incidents / Sum of FH per month * 100 or 1000 |
Note: You will have as many Aircrafts Incidents – Fleet level graphs as the number of fleets in the reliability fleet group. Example, for a reliability report group “Europe” comprising three reliability fleets A320, A340 and, B747, the worksheet displays one Aircrafts Incidents – Fleet Group level graph and three Aircrafts Incidents – Fleet graphs.
A data table summarizing the rate of incidents for all the fleets for each month in the predefined period is available at the end.
Aircraft Incident Data Summary
This worksheet displays the comprehensive details of incidents recorded against every aircraft in each fleet of the reliability group in the Occurrence Reporting component.
Fleet |
The fleets mapped to the identified fleet group. Only the fleets against which incidents are reported during the period of the report are displayed here. A fleet in the reliability fleet group is not listed, if no incidents are reported against any aircraft for the predefined period. |

Aircraft Reg # |
The aircraft against which the occurrence was reported. |
Reporting Station |
The station at which the occurrence is reported. |
Location |
The physical location at which the incident occurred. |

The phase of operation during which the incident occurred. |
ATA |
The ATA chapter number related to the incident |
ATA Description |
The name or short description of the ATA chapter. |
System |
The system mapped to the ATA. |
System Description |
The name or description of the system. |
Major System |
The major system mapped to the ATA |
Major System Description |
The name or description of the major system |

The category or type of the incident. |
Incident |
The identification number of the reported incident against the aircraft. |
Incident Description |
The description of the incident. |
Occurrence Report # |
The identification number of the occurrence report generated for the incident by the pilot or the mechanic. |
Occurrence Description |
The description of the occurrence. |
Remedial Action |
A narrative on the remedial action undertaken to resolve or mitigate the incident. |
Remarks |
Any analysis or comments on the incident. |
Details of aircraft-related incidents must be recorded using the “Create Occurrence Report” activity in the Occurrence Reporting component. Occurrence reports with a status of “Confirmed”, “Approved” or “Processed” in the Occurrence Reporting component.
Fleets must be attached to a reliability fleet group using the “Setup Reliability Fleet” in the Reliability Analysis component.
