Edit Material Request – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to modify the details of the material request that is already created. The ”Material Request Selection” page allows you to specify the search criteria and select the material request to be modified. You can modify the material request details in the “Edit Material Request Details” page.
You can authorize the material request details in the “Authorize Material Request” page.
The “Inquire Warehouse Stock Balance” page allows you to view the stock balance details in the warehouse for the requested part and substitute part.

What you can do in this activity
You can specify the search criteria and select the material request to modify its details.
Use the “Material Request Selection” page to select a material request for modification.
Use the “Edit Material Request” page to modify the material request details.
You can cancel the material request that is already created. The plan demand and the firm demand created for the parts are also deleted.
Go to the “Edit Material Request” page.
Click the “Cancel Request” pushbutton to cancel the material request.
The system sets the material request in the “Canceled” status.
