Maintaining Aircraft Log Ref. # mapping
Select the “Maintain Aircraft Log Ref. # Mapping” activity under the “Flight Log” business component.
The “Maintain Aircraft Log Ref. # Mapping” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft for which you wish to retrieve details in the multiline. Help facility available. |
Applicable Date |
The date on which records are applicable for the given date range. By default the system displays current date in this field. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the record. The system lists the options Active and Inactive. By default the system displays “Active” in this field. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results in the multiline.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:
Aircraft Reg. # |
The number identifying the aircraft for which this definition is applicable. Mandatory. Ensure that the value entered in this field is a valid aircraft registration number in “Active” status. Help facility available |
Prefix |
The prefix for the log card number, A prefix for the numbering type. The prefix precedes the numbering type and is given for easy identification of the document number. It can be a combination of alphabets and numbers. |
From No |
The starting number of the log card (Integer). Number range of log card Mandatory. Ensure that the number entered in this field is a valid number that is not greater than or equal to “To No.” |
To No |
The ending number of the log card (Integer). This number must be greater than the starting number. Mandatory. |
Suffix |
The suffix for the log card number. A suffix for the numbering type (Alphanumeric, 6). The suffix succeeds the numbering type. It can be a combination of alphabet and numbers. If the suffix is specified as "yyyy", while generating the document number, the current financial year will be set as the suffix. |
Start Date |
The date starting from which the log card number is effective. |
End Date |
The date till which the log card number is effective. Ensure that the date entered in this filed is later than the “Start Date”. |
Status |
The status of the record which could be active or inactive. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:
Last Used |
The last used Log Ref # for the given Aircraft-Date combination. Note that this value is an exception if the Package # is already cancelled. |
Created By |
The login OU who created the record. |
Created Date |
The date on which the record was created. |
Last Modified By |
The login OU by whom the record was modified last. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the record was modified last. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton.
