Basics of using a typical web page

In this page you can view details regarding the work units executed for the maintenance report.

The “View Work & Sign-off Information” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time fields are displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Execution Ref Details” group box:

Execution Ref #

The execution reference number for which you need view the additional work unit details.

 The system displays the package type followed by the execution reference number.

Status

The status of the execution reference.

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft registration number to which the execution reference is associated.

Log #

The number identifying the log, which contains the execution reference details.

Discrepancy #

Use the drop-down list box to select the discrepancy or maintenance report for which you need to view the additional work unit details. The system lists all the discrepancies associated to the execution reference number.

The system displays the following on clicking “Get Details” pushbutton:

Discrepancy Description

The textual description of the discrepancy or maintenance report.

The system displays the following in the “Work Execution Details” multiline:

Collab.

The  icon indicates whether any message / chat has been posted against the task # / discrepancy #.

  • Icon appears in Grey, if no message / chat has been posted against the task # / discrepancy #.

  • Icon appears in Green, if messages / chats have been posted against the task # / discrepancy #.

Click the icon to open the Collaborate popup and post messages / chats against task # / discrepancy #. The popup displays previous posts against the task # / discrepancy #, if any.

Collaborate – More details…        

When a user posts a message against a task # / discrepancy # in the Collaborate screen, a notification is triggered to the selected user in the “Share With” field. The recipient user will receive the notification in the My Inbox page of the wizard screen.

The user can click the Collaborate button against message in Wizard screen to launch the Collaborate screen and display the posts against the task # / discrepancy #.

Work Unit Type

The type of the work unit, which could be “Task”  “Std. Procedure”, “Comp. Work Package”, “Aircraft Work Package” or “New Task”.

The number identifying the task

Task Description

The description of the task

Execution Status

The execution status of the work unit, which could be “Pending”, “Completed” or “Incomplete”.

Task Type

The type of the task.

ATA #

The ATA chapter defined for the work unit.

Sign-Off Info.

The sign-off information for the task.

RII Sign-Off

The RII sign off information for the task.

Addl Sign-Off

The additional sign off information for the task.

Execution Comments

 Comments recorded during the execution of the work unit.

Recorded By

The employee number  of the person who has recorded the comments.

File Name

The name of the file that is associated to the technical log and is used for reference.

Job Type

The type of job for the work unit, which could be “Aircraft”, “On-Wing” or “Component Removal”.

A/C Level #

The number identifying the level at which the position code occurs in the aircraft, from which the component has to be removed.

Position Code

The number identifying the position code in the aircraft from which the component has to be removed.

Part#

The part number of the component.

Serial#

The serial number of the component.

Planning Type

The type of planning, which could be “Planned” or “Unplanned”.

Plan Start Date/Time

The date and time at  which the plan for the work unit must begin.

Plan End Date/Time

The date and time at which the plan for the work unit must end.

Schedule Start Date/Time

The scheduled start date and time of the work unit.

Schedule End Date/Time

The scheduled end date and time of the work unit.

Work center #

The code identifying the work center.

User Status

Indicates the user defined status of the Task #.

Station

The station where the execution reference has been recorded in the sheet.

Compliance Date

The date on which maintenance activity was completed.

Compliance Time

The time at which the maintenance activity was completed.

Source

The source of the technical log which could be “Aircraft Forecast”, “Component Forecast”, “Deferred”, “Maintenance Event”, “As Required” or “Direct”.

Forecast#

The number identifying the forecast generated for the work unit.

Part Description

The description of the part.

Component#

The number identifying the component.

Job ID

The number identifying the job.

Line#

Use the drop-down list box to select the line number for which sign-off details must be viewed. 

Display Option

Use the drop-down list box to select the display option for retrieving the details. The system displays the following option:

  • Sub task Level - Select this option if the details must be retrieved at the sub task level.

Resource Group

Use the drop-down list box to select the resource group for the task. The system displays the options “Inspector” and “Mechanic”. By default, the system leaves this field blank.

The system displays the following in the “Sub-Task Information” multiline:

Seq#

The sequence number of the sub-task.

Task#

The number identifying the task.

Sub Task Description

The description of the sub task.

Skill#

The number identifying the skill of the employee belonging to the resource group. Alternately, the skill required for the correction action against the discrepancy.

Resource Group

The resource group for the task, which could be “Inspector”, “Mechanic” or “Insp and Mech”.

Sign-off Comments

Any sign-off information made by the resource group pertaining to the task.

Sign-Off Status

The status of the sign-off comments, which could be “Not Required”, “Pending”, “Mechanic Pending”, “Inspector Pending” or “Signed-Off”.

Employee#

The number identifying the employee belonging to the resource group.

Last Modified By

The name of the person who last modified the sub task details.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the modification was done.
