Note: If the Update Mode is “Estimation” and if you have entered values in the “From Date/Time” and “Estimated Hours” fields, the system calculates and displays the “To Date/Time” by adding the “From Date/Time” and “Estimated Hours” fields. If the Update Mode is “Actuals” and if you have entered values in the “From Date/Time” and “Actual Hours” fields, the system calculates and displays the “To Date/Time” by adding the “From Date/Time” and “Actual Hours” fields. If the resource dates are earlier/later than the task or document level dates, the system updates the estimated dates and actual dates at task/document level.
Example, if the Estimated dates at Task level is between 01/02/2009 and 10/02/09 and the Estimated dates at Resource level are between 01/01/2009 and 11/02/09, the system updates the estimated dates at task level to the dates between 1/01/2009 and 11/02/09.
The system performs the following:
Converts the value entered in the “Used Value” field by applying the conversion factor for the given UOM and stock UOM as defined in the “UDSS” business component for Resource # which is a Part #for which UOM provided is different form the Stock UOM of the given Part # as defined in the “Part Administration” business component.
Updates the resource information for a Facility as the resource which is either serviceable, new or overhauled only if the following conditions are true:
Due date for the given task is not overdue as in the Facility Master
Due date for all the tasks in the Component Maintenance Program is not overdue if the Facility Object is a Component Part.
Due date is earlier than the date on which the facility is booked against a task.
The system updates the cost center in the Resource Actuals details, if the Accounting Process Parameter ‘Cost Center basis for Resource Adjustment’ is set as 'Base CC'’ in the “Set Options” activity of the “Account Group” business component. The cost center is derived based on the Resource Type.
For Resource type "Skill", Cost Center is derived from the Task # - Work Center - Cost Center mapping.
For Resources type "Tools / Equipment" with Facility Object #, Cost Center is derived from Facility Object # - Cost Center mapping.
For Resources type "Tools / Equipment" with no Facility Object #, Cost Center is derived from the Task # - Work Center - Cost Center mapping.
For Resources type "Tools / Equipment" with Facility Object # having no Cost Center mapped, Cost center is derived from the Task # - Work Center - Cost Center mapping.
For Resource type "Others", Cost Center is derived from the Task # - Work Center - Cost Center mapping.
Note: Task # - Work Center - Cost Center mapping is defined in the “Work Center” business component and Facility Object # - Cost Center mapping defined in the “Facility Object” business component.
The system issues the facility object to the mechanic automatically against the task if the process parameter “Auto Issue of Tools when Resource Actuals are recorded for the Task/Discrepancy?” under the entity type Package Type and the entity Log Cards and User Defined Values in the Define Process Entities activity of Common Master is set as 1/Required under the following conditions:
