Selecting journey log for amendment
This page allow you to select a journey log for amendment. Tell me more.
Select the “Amend Journey Log” link under the “Flight Log” business component.
The “Select Journey Log” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields must be entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the exact journey log number to be amended:
Journey Log # |
The journey log number for which the details are to be amended (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Amendment# |
The amendment number of the journey log (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Select the “Amend Journey Log” link displayed alongside to amend the journey log details.
To search for journey log
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for journey log(s). Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Journey Log # |
The journey log number for which the details are to be amended (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the journey log number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all journey logs whose numbers are similar to the number entered here. |
Status |
Use the dropdown list to select the status of the journey log. The system displays the options “Approved” and “Under Amendment”. The system retrieves all journey logs whose status is similar to the status entered here. By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
Journey Log Category |
Use the drop-down list to specify the journey log category. The system retrieves all journey logs belonging to this category. |
Flight Date |
The date scheduled for the flight (Date Format). |
Aircraft Reg# |
The number identifying the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the aircraft registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all journey logs whose aircraft registration numbers are similar to the number entered here. |
Aircraft Model# |
Use the drop-down list to select the model number of the aircraft. The system retrieves all journey logs created for this aircraft model. |
Starting Station |
The station from where the journey starts (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the station name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all journey logs whose starting station name is similar to the name entered here. |
Log # |
The log number reference in the journey log. This number refers to the page number in the journey log. (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the log number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all journey logs with the matching log numbers. |
Flight Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the flight status of leg records of journey logs. The drop-down list box displays the following: On Schedule, Delayed, Canceled, Air Turned Back, Ground Turned Back, Diverted and Substituted. The system retrieves those journey logs with at least one leg record in the flight status that you have selected here. Alternately, select Blank to retrieve all journey logs regardless of the flight status of leg records. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
Note: The system retrieves and displays the Journey Log records that are in "Approved" or "Under Amendment" Status and whose ‘Source’ is “Online” or “Offline”.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Amendment # |
The number identifying the amended journey log. |
Status |
The status of the journey log. |
Aircraft Reg# |
The number identifying the aircraft. |
Aircraft Model# |
The model number of the aircraft. |
Flight Date |
The date on which the flight is scheduled. |
Starting Station |
The station from where the journey starts. |
Log # |
The log number reference in the journey log. This number refers to the page number in the journey log. |
Journey Log Category |
The category of the journey log. |
App. History |
Click the icon to open the “App History” popup and view approval details of the journey log till date. |
Select the “Amend Journey Log” link at the bottom of the page, to amend the journey log details.
Selecting journey log for amendment – An overview
You can select a journey log number and amend specific details. If you know the journey log number, and the amendment number of the journey log, you can directly enter them. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the journey log number, status, journey log category, flight date, aircraft registration number, aircraft model number and starting station. Based on the filter criteria, details of the journey log, such as the journey log number, amendment number, status, aircraft registration number, aircraft model number, flight date, starting station and journey log category are displayed in the multiline.
