Basics of using a Ramco iEnterprise Series 4.0 Web Page

The “Manage Demand” page appears.

Demand Nature

Use the drop-down list box to specify the nature of the demand. The system lists the following values along with the blank value:

  • Scheduled – Indicates that the nature of the demand of parts is forecasted.

  • Unscheduled - Indicates that the nature of the demand of parts is unforeseen.

The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Part #

The number identifying the part that is on demand.

Demand For

Use the drop-down list box to specify the entity type for which the part is on demand. The system lists the values “Aircraft” and “Contract” along with the blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

 

The number identifying the entity for which the part is on demand.

Period

The starting date from which the entity details is to be retrieved.

 

The ending date until which the entity details is to be retrieved.

Note: The difference between Period To and Period From should be less than or equal to 365 days.

Demand Nature

Use the dropdown list box to specify the nature of the demand. The system lists the values “Scheduled” and “Unscheduled”. The system displays the value “Scheduled”, by default.

Demand For

Use the drop-down list box to specify the entity type for which the part is on demand. The system lists the values “Aircraft” and “Contract” along with the blank value. The system displays the value “Aircraft”, by default.

Demand For Entity

The number identifying the entity for which the part is on demand which could be Aircraft Reg # or Contract #.

Part #

The number identifying the part that is on demand.

Year

Use the drop-down list box to specify the year on which the part is on demand.

Month

Use the drop-down list box to specify the month on which the part is on demand. The system lists the values January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Proj. Qty.

The projected quantity of parts that is on demand for a month or year.

Note: This field can be modified only if the set option 'Allow Modification of Summary Values derived from Transactions- Projected Demand Qty' is set as 1 in the “Set Float Management Parameters” screen.

Act. Qty.

The projected quantity of parts that is on demand for a month or year.

Note: This field can be modified only if the set option 'Allow Modification of Summary Values derived from Transactions- Actual Demand Qty' is set as 1 in the “Set Float Management Parameters” screen.

Remarks

Any textual description pertaining to the demand.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the demand. The system lists the values “active” and “Inactive”. The system displays the value “Active”, by default.

Source Act.

Indicates the source of Actual quantity that is derived which could be “Manual” or “Transaction”.

Manual – Indicates that the actual quantity is entered by the user.

Transaction – Indicates that the system updates the actual quantity based on the set option ‘Demand Data Source’ set in the “Set Float Management Parameters” screen.

Source Proj.

Indicates the source of projected quantity that is derived which could be “Manual” or “Transaction”.

Manual – Indicates that the actual quantity is entered by the user.

Transaction – Indicates that the system updates the projected quantity based on the set option ‘Demand Data Source’ set in the “Set Float Management Parameters” screen.

Created By

The name of the user who created the demand details.

Created Date & Time

The date and time on which the demand details are created.

Updated By

The name of the user who updated the demand details.

Updated Date & Time

The date and time on which the demand details are updated.

Note: The system ensures that the combination of Demand Nature, Demand For, Demand for Entity, Part #, Year and Month is unique.
