 The "Plan/Update Facility Maintenance Execution" page appears.

The system displays the following field:    

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Use any or both of the following searches to find the facility object for which you want to update maintenance information / create work order / create repair order. For a more advanced and effective search, use the Additional Search Criteria. None of the fields in both the searches are mandatory; hence you can use any combination of filters to look for a specific facility object.

The “Search results” multiline displays the following fields for the facility objects that satisfy the search criteria.

Facility Object #

The identification number of the facility object.

Facility #

The identification number of the facility.

Part #

The part reference for the facility object.

Serial #

The serial number for the part.

Work Status

The status of the maintenance job on the facility object.

Holding Work Center #

The holding work center for the facility object.

Part Description

The name / description of the part reference of the facility object.

Scheduled Date

The date for the next maintenance job on the facility object.

Last Exe. Doc #

The identification number of the execution document for the most recently performed maintenance on the facility object.

Ownership

The ownership type of the facility object, such as Owned, Personal, Supplier or Customer.

To change / update the maintenance details

Exe. Doc #

The identification number of the execution document for the maintenance of the facility object. This field is mandatory if you want to update the maintenance execution information manually.

Expense Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of expenditure incurred on maintenance of the facility object. The system displays the following values: “Revenue” and “Capital”.

Expected Return Date

The tentative return date of the facility object after the completion of maintenance.

Execution Facility

Use the drop-down list box to specify the location where the maintenance job on the facility object is executed. The system displays the following values: "Internal", "External” and ” Internal & External".

Note: For work order generation, the values should be set either as "Internal" or "Internal & External".

For repair order generation, the values should be set either as "External" or "Internal & External"

Exe. Work Center #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the execution work center for facility object. This field is mandatory if you have selected “Internal” in the Execution Facility field.

Preferred Repair Agency

The most favored repair agency for the facility object. This field is mandatory if you have selected “External” in the Execution Facility field.

Help facility available.

Work Unit Type

The work unit type for the maintenance of the facility object. The system displays “Task” and blank.

Note: This field is mandatory to create a work order.

Work Unit #

The identification number for the task as specified in the Work Unit Type field.

Note: When the "Work Unit Type" is set as "Task" then the "Work Unit #" specified must have the following:

  • The task must be a valid and active Task in the “Task Master” of the “Maintenance Task” business component,

  • The “Task Applicability”  of the task is set as "Component" in the Maintenance Task” business component,

  • The Task Effectivity list, specified in the “Task master, has the specified Part # referred in that particular line.

Condition

Use the drop-down list box to specify the present state of the facility object. The system displays the following values:

  • New – Indicates that the part is new or purchased recently.

  • Overhauled – Indicates that some maintenance action or servicing is done on the part, and the part has not been used after servicing.

  • Serviceable – Indicates that the part is in a usable condition.

  • Unserviceable – Indicates that the part is in an unusable state and needs service.

Work Instructions / Exe. Comments

Any guidelines / directions for the maintenance of the facility object.

Last Physical Verification Date

The date of the most recent physical verification of the facility object. The Last Physical verification date must not be later than the current server date.

Verification Comments

Any remarks on the physical verification of the facility object.

Facility Object User Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the user-defined status of the facility object.

Alert Date

The date when the alert message is to be sent to Facility Object administrator.

Last Performed Date

The date of the most recent maintenance job.

This date must not be later than the current date / server date.

To plan maintenance

WO / RO Generation Mode

Use the drop-down list box to specify the method of generation of WO / RO for the selected facility objects. The system displays the following values: “Distinct” and “Combined”.

  • Select “Distinct“, for a separate work order for every selected facility object.

  • Select “Combined”, for a consolidated work order for the selected facility objects.

By default, the system displays “Distinct”.

Note: When multiple facility objects are selected and “WO / RO Generation Mode” is set as “Combined” then the fields “Work Unit Type”, “Work Unit #”, “Exe. Work Center #”, “Expense Type”, “Holding Work Center #”, “Ownership”, and “Default Component #” must have the same value for all the selected rows for work orders to be generated. This field should not be set as “Combined” for shop work order.

Default Expense Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the default expense type for the maintenance expenditure of the selected facility objects. The system displays the following values: “Revenue” and “Capital”.

Work Order Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the work order category for the maintenance for the selected facility objects. This field is mandatory to create a shop work order. The system displays all the active quick codes defined in the Component “Shop Work Order” business component.

Repair Order Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the repair order category for the maintenance of the selected facility objects. The system displays the categories defined under the quick code type Component Work Order in Repair Order business component

Work Order Priority

Use the drop-down list box to specify the priority of the work order. Mandatory. The system lists all the “Active” priority codes defined in the “Logistics Common Master” business component.

By default, the system leaves the field blank.

Repair Order Priority

Use the drop-down list box to specify the priority of the repair order. Mandatory. The system lists all the “Active” priority codes defined in the “Maintain Priority Codes” activity of “Logistics Common Master” business component.

By default the system leaves the field blank.

Note: For a consolidated work order, the Work Unit Type, Work Unit #, Preferred Repair Agency, Expense Type and Holding Work Center # must be the same for the selected facility objects.

Update Condition as Unserviceable

Check the box to set the condition of the selected facility objects in the multiline to “Unserviceable”.

 

Note: Shop work order cannot be generated when the Ownership is “Customer”. the “Exe. Doc. Generation Details” group box.
