Selecting FCD for modification
In this page, you can search for the FCD to be modified or cancelled. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Fleet Campaign Directive” link under the “Engineering Document” business component.
The “Select Fleet Campaign Directive” page appears.
Enter the following in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the exact FCD number for which the modification has to be done:
FCD # |
The FCD number for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 18). |
Select the “Edit FCD” link displayed alongside, to modify the FCD information.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for an FCD. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

The FCD number for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the FCD numbers that are similar to the values entered here. |
FCD Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the FCD. The system lists all the quick codes of quick code type “FCD Category” defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity. Leave this field blank to retrieve FCD’s irrespective of their category. The system leaves this field blank by default. |
Subject |
The description of the FCD for which the details to be modified (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character (Alphanumeric, 150). The system lists all the FCD whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. Zoom facility available. |
User Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the user-defined status of the FCD to be modified. The system retrieves all the FCD numbers that are in the user status specified here. Leave this field blank, if you wish to retrieve details of FCD irrespective of their user status. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Applicability |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the applicability of the FCD to be modified. The FCD could be applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”. The system sets the field to “Aircraft” by default. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter for which the FCD must be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the FCD numbers containing ATA chapter number similar to the value entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve the all the FCDs irrespective of the ATA chapter number. |
MCR # |
The maintenance change request against which the engineering document is created (Alphanumeric, 40). The system retrieves all the engineering documents with the MCR number entered here. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the maintenance change request (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
Note: If you have set assignments as ‘mandatory’ in the “Set Options” activity, the system retrieves only the FCD numbers that are assigned to the login user. If assignments are non-mandatory, the system retrieves all the FCD numbers.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Applicability |
The FCD applicability, whether the FCD is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Component” or “Engine”. |
Status |
The status of the FCD, which could be “Fresh” or “Cancelled”. |
User Status |
The user-defined status of the FCD. |
Authorization Status |
The authorization status of the FCD, which could be “Pending” or “Authorization Not Required”. |
MCR # |
The number identifying the maintenance change request based on which the FCD is created. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the MCR. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter on which the FCD must be executed. |
FCD Category |
The category to which the FCD belongs. |
Subject |
The textual description of the FCD. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the FCD for cancellation or to modify the details of the FCD.
The system displays the following fields in the “Employee Details” group box:
Employee # |
The number identifying the currently logged-in user. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. Zoom facility available. |
Enter the following field if you wish to cancel the fleet campaign directive:

Click the “Cancel” pushbutton, to cancel the FCD selected in the multiline.
Select the “View Assignment Information” at the bottom of the page, to view information regarding the assigned employees
The system assigns the “Cancelled” status to the FCD.

Selecting FCD for modification – An overview
In this page, you can search for the FCD to be modified or cancelled. If you know the FCD number for which the details are to be modified, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the FCD number, FCD category, subject, user status, FCD applicability or the ATA chapter number. Based on the search criteria, the system retrieves the details of the FCD, in the multiline. You can select the FCD for which the details are to be modified.
You can also select multiple FCDs and cancel them in bulk. You can enter the cancellation comments while canceling the FCD(s). Once the FCD is cancelled, the system assigns the “Cancelled” status to the FCD, and the FCD will not be available in other activities for processing.
