The “Manage Quick Codes” page appears.

Entity

Use the drop-down list box to select the entity for which the quick codes must be created. The drop-down list box displays the following: Product Structure, Work Monitoring and Control and Process Plan.

To create quick codes

Quick Code Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the quick code type for the new quick codes. Mandatory. The drop-down list box displays the following: Not Applicable.

Drop-down list values

Quick Code

The identification # of the quick code. Mandatory.

Description

The description of the quick code. Mandatory.

Default

Select the check box to recognize the quick code as the default for the quick code type in activities.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to set the status of the quick code. The drop-down list box displays the following: Active and Inactive.

The multiline displays the following:

Created by

The login user who created the quick code.

Created Date

The date on which the login user created the quick code.

Last Modified by

The login user who most recently modified the quick code.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the login user most recently modified the quick code.

To update quick codes

Quick Code Type

To retrieve quick codes belonging to a specific quick code type, select the quick code from the drop-down list box. The multiline displays the quick codes belonging to the quick code type that you select here.

Drop-down list values

Status

To retrieve quick codes of a specific status, select the status from the drop-down list box. Select Active to retrieve quick codes in the Active status. To retrieve Inactive quick codes select Inactive from the drop-down list box.

Quick Code Type Mandatory?

Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the selection of a value for the quick code type is mandatory in activities.
