Maintaining Analysis Rule Definition
Select the “Maintain Analysis Rule Definition” activity under the “Account Based Budget” business component.
The “Maintain Analysis Rule Definition” page appears.
Select any of the radio button:
Maintain |
Select this radio button to define, edit and view the active analysis rules. |
View |
Select this radio button to view the defined analysis rules. |
Enter the following fields in the “header” group box:
Company Code |
The system leaves the field with the login OU Company Code, by default. |
Event |
Use the drop down list box to specify the attribute of the analysis rule definition. The system lists the following values:
The system displays"All", by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search” group box:
Analysis Code |
The unique code identifying the analysis. Help facility available. |
Search By |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve the Analysis Rule Definition based on the corresponding value. The system lists the following values.
In the edit box provided alongside, enter the corresponding values. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
As on Date |
Provided to fetch the active rule definition for a given date. The system displays the current date on screen launch, by default. Mandatory. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to search for the Analysis Rule defined.
The system displays the following in the “Analysis Rule Definition Details” multiline:
Event |
Use the drop down list box to specify the attribute of the analysis rule definition. The system lists the following values when the 'Event' in the header is selected as "All".
On selection of any of the drop down values of the 'Event' in the header, the corresponding values will be loaded in the drop down list box of the 'Event' in the multiline. |
Aircraft Reg # |
A unique number allotted to an aircraft by the regulatory authority of the country in which it is registered. Help facility available. |
Shop Job Type |
Use the drop down list box to select the job type of the Shop Work Order. The system leaves the field blank, by default. The following values will be loaded in this field:

Execution Category |
Use the drop down list box to specify the execution category of the task. The system leaves the field blank, by default. Note: a) For Shop Work Order- The system lists all the active entities defined in Define Process Entities activity of the Common Masters Business Component, for the Entity Type - 'Category' and with applicability as 'Shop Execution' b) For A/C Maint. Exe. Ref #- The system lists all the active entities defined in Define Process Entities activity of the Common Masters Business Component, for the Entity Type - 'Category' and with applicability as 'Aircraft Maint. Execution' c) For Repair Order- The system lists all the active categories defined in Create Common Categories activity of the Logistics Common Masters Business Component, for the Category - 'Repair Order' |
Work Centre # |
Use the drop down list box to specify the work center that is responsible for the task execution. The system leaves the field blank, by default. The system lists all the values based on the Work Center defined in Create Work Center activity of the Work Center Business Component. Again the Work Center values shall be fetched based on the Work Center Class as 'Execution' defined for each Work Center and loads only 'Active' Work Center. |
Asset Location Code |
The code identifying the asset location in which the asset is to be physically located. Help facility available. Note: This field appears only if the ‘Event’ is selected as either “All” or “Asset Depreciation” in the header. |
Analysis Code |
The unique code identifying the analysis. Help facility available. |
Analysis Code Description |
The description pertaining to the analysis code. |
Effective From Date |
The date from which the analysis rule definition is effective. Mandatory. |
Effective To Date |
The date till which the analysis rule definition is effective. |
Note: In View mode, irrespective of the ‘Event’ selected, all the columns in the multiline shall be blank.
Click the “Save” pushbutton to define, edit and view the active Analysis Rules.
