OU-Component Map–View OU-Component Mapping

The role of this activity in the Application creation life cycle

This activity fetches the mapping between OUinstances and Components.

What the activity comprises

View OUComponent Mapping consists of OUinstance Name, OUinstance description, Component Name and Component Description.

Prerequisites

OUinstances and Components should have been defined.
Mapping between and OUinstances and Components should have been defined.

Working with the screen

This screen facilitates viewing the mapping between OU and Component. This activity is available under the Implementation Component.

Description of the header fields

The header section contains three edit boxes namely OUinstance Name, OUinstance ID and OUinstance Description, a n OUinstance Link and a Fetch (named as "view") command button. The user is required to type in the OU Name or he can get help on OUinstance that fetches the available OUinstances.

OUinstance	Enter the name of organization unit. The OU Name can be 16 characters long and consist of alphanumeric characters.
OUInstance ID	Non-editable field which contains OUinstance ID.
OUInstance Description	The description of the organization unit is fetched here. The OU description can be 128 characters long and consist of alphanumeric characters.

Description of the fields in the multiline

The multiline section contains the component details namely the component names and its descriptions. Here names and descriptions of all the components mapped to OU specified in the header will be fetched.
