Map Role OU to Grid Features

This activity allows you to map the grid level features of the component to the role – OU combinations. You can provide the permissions to the various grid level features are Export To Excel, Import From Excel, View All and Print Screen. You select the features by enabling the check box in the multiline. You can also include or exclude permission for all the combinations. You can also fetch the details of component – activity – ILBO names by giving the Control ID. You can also fetch, modify and delete the existing the details of the component in the repository.

Select the “Map Role OU to Grid Features” link under the “Implementation Process” business component.

The “Map Role OU to Grid Features” page appears.

Enter the following details in the header:

Role Name

The unique name of the role for which the grid level features has to be mapped. Mandatory

The system displays the following details in the header.

Role Description

The description of the role.

Enter the following details in the header:

OU Name

The unique name of the organization unit for which the grid level features has to be mapped. Mandatory

Press ENTER.

The system displays the following details in the header.

OU Description

The description of the organization unit.

Enter the following details in the header:

Component Name	Use the drop-down list box to select the component name for mapping the role – OU combination to the grid level features. The combo is loaded with component names based on the “Role name” and “OU Name” entered.
Activity Name	Use the drop-down list box to select the activity name for mapping the role – OU combination to the grid level features. The combo is loaded with activity names based on the “Component Name” entered.
ILBO Code	Use the drop-down list box to select the ILBO Code for mapping the role – OU combination to the grid level features. The combo is loaded with ILBO codes based on the “Activity Name” entered.

Click the “Fetch All Permitted Combinations” pushbutton to fetch the details of all permitted combinations.
Click the “Include Permissions For All Combinations Fetched” pushbutton to include the permissions of grid features for all fetched combinations.
Click the “Exclude Permissions For All Combinations Fetched” pushbutton to exclude the permissions of grid features for all fetched combinations.

The system displays the following details in the multiline.

Component Name	A unique name of the component.
Comp. Desc.	The description of the component.
Activity Name	A unique name of the activity.
Activity Description	The description of the activity name.
Ilbo Name	The ILBO name for the activity.
Ilbo Desc	The description of the ILBO name.
Control ID	A unique control id for the combination of component name – activity name – ILBO code.

Enter the following details in the multiline:

Export To Excel	Select the check box to provide access permission for the "Export To Excel" feature to the role – OU combination.
Import From Excel	Select the check box to provide access permission for the "Import From Excel" feature to the role – OU combination.
View All	Select the check box to provide access permission for the "View All" feature to the role – OU combination.
Print Screen	Select the check box to provide access permission for the "Print Screen" feature to the role – OU combination.

Click the “Save Details” pushbutton to save the permitted grid features for the role – OU combinations.

The system saves the details of the permitted grid level features to the role – OU combinations.
