Selecting the benefit provider to view details
Select the “View Benefit Provider Information” option from the left pane.
The “Select Benefit Provider to View Details” page appears
The system displays the following fields.
Date Format |
The date that is applicable to the login user. If the user does not define the date format, the system |

will display the date format applicable to the Organization unit, which is defined in the “Enterprise Model Company Definitions” |
Benefits General Info Unit |
From the drop-down list box select the organization unit from for which the provider details are be viewed. The drop-down list box displays all the organization units in which the Benefits General Information component has been deployed and interacts with the login organization unit. |
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the provider code or the provider name. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the provider code or description contain. Optionally, you can enter the “City”, “Zip”, “State” and “country” fields, to narrow your search. You can also specify the “Contact type”. search based on wild card characters is also supported.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Provider Code |
To view the provider codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the provider codes. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, PRD1*, will search for those provider codes that start with PRD1. Other examples are *PRD1, P*1 and RD* |
Provider Name |
To view all the provider names containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the provider name |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, PRD*, will search for those provider codes that start with PRD. Other examples are *PRD, P*D and RD* |
Provider Short Description |
To view all provider short descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character/s of the short description. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, Provider*, will search for those provider short descriptions that start with Provider*,. Other examples are *PRD, PRD*R, and *RD* |
City |
To view all the provider located in a particular city, type in the starting characters of the city. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards Example, New*, will search for those provider short descriptions that start with New* like the New York, New Jersey, etc. Other examples are *New, N*K, and *NW* |
Zip |
To view all the provider(s) of a certain zip code, type in the starting characters of the Zip code. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. |
Country |
To view all the providers located in a particular country, type in the starting characters of the country. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, Uni*, will search for those providers which located in the country that start with Uni. Other examples are *UN, N*K, and *UN* |
State Description |
To view all the providers located in a particular State description, type in the starting characters of the State description. |

Alternatively, type these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, Cal* will search for those providers who are located in the State which begin with start with Cal. Other examples are *Cal, C*L, *CL* |
Contact Type |
To view all the providers of a contact type, type in the starting characters of the Contact type. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, Prim* will search for those providers that have contact types starting with Prim. Other Examples are Prim, P*R, PR* |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
The system will display all records satisfying the search criteria in the multiline.
Note:
If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the
records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are
applicable to the selected benefits general information unit.
The system displays the following details in the multiline.
Provider Code |
The unique code to identify the provider. |
Name |
The name of the provider. |
Provider Short Description |
A brief description of the provider |
City |
The city in which the provider is located. |
Zip |
The zip code of the provider. |
Country |
The country in which the provider is located. |
State |
The state in which the provided is located. |
Contact Type |
The contact type of the provider. |
From the multiline, select the record whose details are to be viewed, by checking beside the record in the “Select” column.
Select the “View Provider Information” hyperlink at the bottom of the page.
The “View Provider Information” page appears.
Use this page to select the provider whose details are to be viewed.
