Selecting collective bargaining agreements to edit
Select the “Edit Collective bargaining details” option from the left pane.
The “Select Collective Bargaining Agreement To Edit ” page appears.
The system displays the following fields
Date Format |
The date that is applicable to the login user. If the user does not define the date format, the system will display the date format applicable to the Organization unit, which is defined in the “Enterprise Model Company Definitions” |
Benefits General Info Unit |
From the drop-down list box select the organization unit from for which the collective bargaining details must be modified. |

The drop-down list box displays all the organization units in which the Benefits General Information component has been deployed and interacts with the login organization unit. |
Select the collective bargaining details record, either through the “Direct Entry” group box or through the “Search Criteria” group box.
To select through Direct Entry
Use this method if you know the complete code of the collective bargaining details record.
Enter the code of the collective bargaining code that must be viewed, in the “Collective bargaining Code” field.
Select the “Edit Collective Bargaining Details” hyperlink.
The “Edit collective bargaining Agreement Information” page appears. All details of the selected record are displayed.

To select through Search Criteria
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the collective bargaining details code or the description. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the collective bargaining details code or description contain. Optionally, you can enter the union name, to narrow your search. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Bargaining Agreement Code |
To edit the collective bargaining agreement codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the collective bargaining details codes. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, CBAD01*, will search for those collective bargaining details codes that start with CBAD01. Other examples are *O1, C*1 and *BA* |
Bargaining Agreement Short Description |
To edit all collective bargaining details short descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character/s of the short description. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, Collctbrgn*, will search for those collective bargaining short descriptions that start with Collctbrgn*. Other examples are *Collctbrgn, *brg* |
Bargaining Agreement Long details |
To edit all collective bargaining details long descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character/s of the long description. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, Collective*, will search for those collective bargaining short descriptions that start with Collective. Other examples are *Details, *bargain* |
Union Name |
To edit all the unions containing specific characters, type in the starting character/s of the union name. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, Uni*, will search for those unions that start with Uni. Other examples are *Uni, *nio* |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
Note:
If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the
records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are
applicable to the selected benefits general information unit.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the collective bargaining agreement information records that satisfy the search criteria specified.
Code |
The unique code that identifies the collective bargaining agreement. |
Short Description |
A brief description of the Collective bargaining agreement. |
Long Description |
The complete description of the collective bargaining agreement. |
Union Name |
The union name of the collective bargaining agreement. |
From the multiline, select the record that must be edited, by checking beside the record in the “Select” column.
Select the “Edit Collective Bargaining Agreement Information” hyperlink.
The “Edit Collective Bargaining Agreement Information” page appears.
