Hold Code

All “Active” Hold codes with release responsibility is set as Commercials as defined in the Common Master component.

Those customer orders put on hold with the hold code you select in the second drop-down list box.

Initiated by

  • Commercial

  • Planning

  • Execution

Those customer orders put on hold, the hold process for which is initiated by the department that you select in the second drop-down list box.

Hold Type

  • Direct

  • Indirect

  • Those customer orders that are put on hold through this activity, if you select Hold Type as ”Direct”.

  • Those customer orders that are put on hold automatically when related shop work order, material request, exchange order or task are put on hold with escalation level set to “Customer Order”, if you select Hold Type ”Indirect”.

Hold Classification

  • Quote

  • Part

  • Exchange

  • Others

  • Estimates

  • Those customer orders related to work orders and exchange orders that have been withheld and for which Release Responsibility is "Commercial", if you select “Quote” as Hold Classification.

  • Those customer orders associated with exchange orders that have been withheld and, for which Release Responsibility is "Commercial", if you select “Exchange” as Hold Classification.

  • Those customer orders associated with documents other than those mentioned above (Quote, Exchange Order, Work Order and material requests), if you select “Others” as Hold Classification.

  • Those customer orders related to work orders and exchange orders that have been withheld and for which Release Responsibility is "Execution", if you select “Estimates” as Hold Classification.
