Mapping multiple normal cost elements with cost center
This page allows you to map multiple cost elements to multiple cost centers. You can enter the range of cost centers to which you want to map cost elements. You can also enter the range of cost elements that you want to map to the cost centers. You can map detail cost centers to normal cost elements. The system maps the cost elements available in the specified range to all the cost centers available in the specified range.
Select the “Map Multiple Normal Cost Elements” link at the bottom of the “Map Normal / Allocation Cost Elements” page.
The “Map Multiple Normal Cost Elements” page appears.
Enter the following fields:
Cost Center From |
The starting code in the range of cost center codes that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 10). The cost center entered in this field must be a detail cost center. |
Note: The code entered in this field must be before or the same as the code entered in the “To” field.
To |
The ending code in the range of cost center codes till which you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 10). The cost center entered in this field must be a detail cost center. |
Cost Element From |
The starting code in the range of cost elements codes that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 32). The cost element entered in this field must be a normal cost element. |
Note: The code entered in this field must be before or the same as the code entered in the “To”
To |
The ending code in the range of cost element codes that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 32). The cost element entered in this field must be a normal cost element. |
Click the “Map” pushbutton to map the cost elements to the cost center.
The system maps the cost elements to the cost centers.
