Setting Function default

This activity allows you to set the parameters for the system to follow the Cost Center Rule Definition. You can define the parameters the first time when this business component is installed. You can also modify the details of the parameters as per the business requirements. The system saves the modifications made to the parameter. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the modified details.
Select the “Set Function default” link under the “Cost Center Rule Definition” business component.
The “Set Function default” page appears.
The system displays the following:

Cost Center for Inventory based on Parameters |
Use the drop-down list box to set whether you want the Cost Center for Inventory to be based on parameters. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. Yes – indicates that Cost Center for Inventory is based on parameters No- indicates that Cost Center for Inventory is not based on parameters |

Cost Center for Maintenance based on Parameters |
Use the drop-down list box to set whether you want the Cost Center for Maintenance to be based on parameters. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. Yes – indicates that Cost Center for Maintenance are based on parameters No- indicates that Cost Center for Maintenance are not based on parameters |

Cost Center for Purchase based on Parameters |
Use the drop-down list box to set whether you want the Cost Center for Purchase to be based on parameters. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. Yes – indicates that Cost Center for Purchase is based on parameters. No- indicates that Cost Center for Purchase is not based on parameters. |

Cost Center for Sale based on Parameters |
Use the drop-down list box to set whether you want the Cost Center for Sale to be based on parameters. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. Yes – indicates that Cost Center for sale is based on parameters. No- indicates that Cost Center for sale is not based on parameters. |

Part Group Purpose for Service Sale CCRD |
Use the drop-down list box to set the purpose of the part group for the service sale. The system defaults this field with "Product Line". |
Click the “Set” pushbutton to save the defined parameters.
The system saves the parameters that have been defined.
The system saves the login ID of the user and the system date along with the newly created parameter details. The system also saves the login ID of the user and the system date along with the modified details.
