Deleting usage

This page allows you to delete a usage that has been created for a cost center. You can search for the usage based on the code identifying the usage or the description of the usage. The system retrieves and displays the usages based on the page from which this page is launched. For example, if the “Delete Usage” page is launched from the “Delete Purchase Definition” page, then all the usages that have been defined on purchase cost center that are in “Active” status will be retrieved for selection. Once a usage is deleted, the system records the deletion details and maintains a history of changes for the deleted records also.

• Select the “Delete Usage” link from the main page.

The “Delete Usage” page appears.

• Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Note: The value entered here should be greater than or equal to the value entered in the “Usage Id From” field.

• Click the “Search” pushbutton to search for the usage to be deleted.

Note: The system retrieves the usages for deletion based on the page from which it is launched.

All the usages in “Active” status will be retrieved and displayed in the multiline for deletion.

The system displays the following in the “Usage Details” multiline:

• Click the “Delete” pushbutton to delete the cost center usage.

Note: Atleast one record in the multiline should be marked for deletion.

The system deletes the usage and also maintains a history of the deletions and changes made to the usages.
