Viewing parameter details

In this page, all the parameter values as updated for the component in the "Aircraft" business component are displayed along with the warranty value and the warranty expiry values. Tell me more.

Select the "View Parameter Details" link in the "View Component Warranty Information" page.

The "View Parameters" page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following fields in the "Component Details" group box:

Warranty Reference #	The number identifying the warranty reference for which parameter details are displayed.
Status	The status of the warranty reference which could be "Fresh", "Canceled", "Confirmed" or "Expired".
Supplier #	The code identifying the supplier.
Supplier Name	The name of the supplier.
Part #	The number of the part to which the component belongs.
Serial #	The serial number of the component for which the warranty parameter details are displayed.
Component #	The number of the component.
Part Description	The textual description of the part. Zoom facility available.

Note: The system retrieves the parameter values based on the values selected in the “Time Display Option” field in the “Aircraft” business component. For example, if the “Time Display Option” is selected as “HHMM” and if the stored value is 2.50, the system automatically converts and displays the value as 2.30.

The system displays the following fields in the "Parameter Details" multiline:

Parameter	The consumption parameter based on which the warranty is tracked.
Parameter Description	The textual description of the parameter.
UOM	The unit of measurement of the parameter.
Warranty Value	The value of the warranty.
Warranty Expiry Value	The threshold value of the parameter after which the warranty expires.
Since New	The cumulative value of the parameter, since the component is manufactured.
Since Overhaul	The cumulative value of the parameter, since the last overhaul of the component in the shop.
Since Repair	The cumulative value of the parameter, since the last repair of the component in the shop.
Since Inspection	The cumulative value of the parameter, since the last inspection of the component in the shop.
Since Last Shop Visit	The cumulative value of the parameter, since the last visit of the component to the shop for maintenance.

Viewing parameter details - An overview

The warranty on a component is tracked based on certain parameters defined for the component in the "Aircraft" business component. The parameters and their warranty values are already specified in the "Create Component Warranty" activity.
