Confirm Component Warranty – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to confirm the component warranty reference. You can also modify the warranty reference before confirmation or cancel the warranty reference, if you wish to.

The search facility provided in this page helps you to search for the component warranty reference for confirmation or cancellation. You can search based on the warranty reference number, warranty type, reference document type, reference document number, goods receipt number, supplier name, part number, part serial number, supplier part number and ATA chapter number. The system retrieves only the component warranty reference documents that are in “Fresh” status, for confirmation or cancellation.

Confirm warranty reference

You can confirm only the component warranty reference in "Fresh" status.

After confirmation the warranty reference status is updated to "Confirmed".

Cancel warranty reference

You are also provided with an option of canceling the component warranty reference. Only the agreement in "Fresh" status can be canceled. After cancellation the status of the component warranty reference changes to "Canceled".

Bulk confirmation or cancellation

Confirmation or cancellation of component warranty reference documents in bulk is possible. You can specify whether all the warranty references listed in the multiline must be confirmed or canceled.
