Viewing maintenance document details

This page allows you to view the source documents by invoking the technical document system set for the manufacturer.
Select the “View Technical Documentation” link under the “Technical Document Interface” business component.
The “View Technical Documentation” page appears.
The system displays the following field:

Date Format |
The format in which the date fields appear in this page. The system displays the date format from the “User Preferences” business component. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component. |
Enter the following fields in the “Tech Doc System” group box:

Tech Doc System |
Use the drop-down list box to select the technical document system through which you wish to view the source document details. Mandatory. The system lists options such as “Jouve”, “Airnav” and “ePubs”. By default, the system displays the previously saved value if exists, else leaves the field blank. |
Enter the following fields in the “Tech Doc System Ownership Attributes” group box:

Manufacturer # |
The number identifying the manufacturer whose source documents must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 45). Mandatory. The manufacturer code entered here must be valid as defined in the “Aircraft” business component. Help facility available. |
The system displays the following field:

Manufacturer Name |
The name of the manufacturer. |
Enter the following fields:

Customer Name |
The login ID of the customer, using which the Tech Doc System can be viewed. (Alphanumeric, 40) Help facility available. |

Reference Doc Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the reference document. The system lists the option “AMM”. The system leaves the field blank by default. Ensure that a value is selected in this field, if the Tech Doc System is set as “Jouve” or “Airnav”. |
Click the “Launch Tech Doc System” pushbutton to invoke the technical document system for viewing the source document details.
Based on the mapping done in the “Set Tech Doc System Options” activity, the system invokes the technical document system corresponding to the manufacturer, for viewing the source document details.
“Set Tech Doc System Options” activity of the current business component. The manufacturer must have been mapped to a technical document system in the “Set Options” page.
