Taxes Charges Discounts - An overview
Taxes, Charges and Discounts (TCD) refers to various additional charges to be added or subtracted from the account payable to the vendor. The TCD depends on the terms and condition of the contract between supplier and the customer and also on the government policies. The TCD business component addresses the requirement of capturing this information at the master level. TCD’s of similar characteristics, applicability and criteria can be grouped together and termed as a single code. These codes can be mapped to other relevant TCD codes.
TCD Master component provides facility to use Tax, charge and discount in all transactional components like "Purchase Order", "Blanket Purchase Order", "Release Slip", etc.
