Reviewing part sequential control mapping information
Select the Review Part Seq. Control link under the Maintenance Task component.
The “Review Part Seq. Control Mapping Information” page appears.
Specify the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to find the sequence control # that you wish to evaluate.
Part # |
The part associated with the sequence control that you want to review (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the components whose part numbers are similar to the value entered here. Note: It is mandatory that you specify a valid part in this field, if you wish to All Prime Parts or All Prime and Alternate Parts as the display option. |
Note: 1) The part # is displayed only if the Enable Manufacturer Part # control in transaction" parameter is set to ”No” in the Logistics Common Master' business component, in the Set Inventory Process Parameters activity of the Logistics Common Master component.
Mfr. Part #/Mfr. # |
The manufacturer part number of the part associated with the sequence control that you want to review in the first input box (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the Mfr. part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. In the second input box, specify the manufacturer number of the part. You can enter the manufacturer number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all components whose manufacturer part numbers/manufacturer numbers are similar to the value entered here. Note: It is mandatory that you specify a valid part in this field, if you wish to All Prime Parts or All Prime and Alternate Parts as the display option. |
Note: 1) The manufacturer part # and manufacturer # fields are displayed only if the Enable Manufacturer Part # control in transaction" parameter is set to ”Yes” in the Logistics Common Master' business component, in the Set Inventory Process Parameters activity of the Logistics Common Master component.
Part Description |
The short name/description of the part associated with the sequence control that you want to review. The system retrieves those parts with descriptions similar to that you specify here. |
Seq. Control# |
The sequence control # for which you want to retrieve part details. You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all parts mapped to those sequence controls with numbers similar to that you specify here. |
Display Option |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate the information that the search has to retrieve. The drop-down list box displays the following: Specific, All Prime Parts and All Prime and Alternate Parts. If you select
By default, the display option is set to Specific. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton to display details of sequence control # that match the search criteria.
Note: If you do not specify any of the search criteria, the system retrieves all the Active parts defined in the Part Administration component.

Select the “Create Seq. Control #” link to create sequence control # for the part.
