This page allows you to modify the details of the selected work area in this page. Details such as the work area description and the status can be modified. The system updates the details of the work area and sets the “Last Modified Date” to the server date.
Select the “Edit Work Area Details” link in the “Select Work Area” page. Alternatively, select the hyperlinked work area number in the multiline of the same page.
The “Edit Work Area Information” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Work Area Details” group box:
Work Area # |
The selected work area number for which the details are to be modified. |
Enter the following:
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the work area which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |

Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable the work area number from future reference in other activities. |
The system displays the following field:
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model to which the work area is associated |
Enter the following field:
Work Area Description |
The textual description of the work area. This field should not be left blank (Alphanumeric, 150). Mandatory. |
The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box.
Created By |
The name of the user who created the work area. |
Created Date |
The date on which the work area was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who modified the work area. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the work area was last modified. |
Enter the following field in the "Remarks" group box :
Remarks |
Any additional remarks pertaining to the work area. Typically, the reason for modifying the work area is entered here (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Click the “Edit Work Area” pushbutton to modify the details of the work area.
