The system displays the following in the multiline.

Line #

The sequence number of the parameter record.

Parameter

The parameter for the task and sub-task (Alphanumeric, 40). The parameter must be unique in the multiline. Ensure that the parameter is in “Active” status.

The system displays the following in the multiline.

Parameter Type

The type of the parameter.

The system displays “Technical”, “Attribute”, “Consumption” or “Range”, if the “Standard? field is set as “Yes”.

The system displays “Non-Standard”, if the “Standard?” field is set as “No”.

Parameter Recording?

Use the drop-down list box to indicate, if recording of parameter values is mandatory for the task. Select:

  • Mandatory, if recording parameter is essential for the task.

  • Non-mandatory, to indicate parameter reading is not always required for the task

  • Occurrence Tracking, if the compliance of the task must be treated as a count of 1 to be added to the parameter value. Note: The parameter type for the task must be ‘Consumption’, if you wish to select Occurrence Tracking in this field. For example, each time a tyre is replaced on a landing gear, the parameter Tyre Replacement for the task Inspection pertaining to a landing gear needs to be incremented by 1. On reaching parameter value of 5 (that is 5 replacements) Inspection for the landing gear must be triggered for execution. Typically, on compliance of a task with Parameter Recording? set as Occurrence Tracking on the maintenance object, the parameter recording will happen in the following way:

    1. Under Delta update mode, the system increments the parameter value for the task by 1.

    2. Under New update mode, the parameter value for the task is reset to 1.

Standard?

Use the drop-down list box and select “Yes” if the parameter is a standard parameter. Else select “No”.

The system sets this field to “Yes” by default.

Parameter Description

The textual description of the parameter (Alphanumeric, 150).

The system displays the following field:

UOM

The unit of measurement for the parameter.

Standard Value

The standard value of the parameter.

Permitted Values

The permitted values for the parameter. You can specify multiple values separate by a separator, such as”,”, “:” or “/”.
