Entering model effectivity details for a standard procedure
This page allow you to define the model effectivity for the standard procedure. Tell me more
Select the “Edit Model Effectivity” link at the bottom of the “Create Standard Procedure Information” or “Edit of Standard Procedure Information” page.
The “Edit Model Effectivity” page appears.
Note: This page is displayed only when the “Multiple Model Effectivity” option is set as “Allowed” in “Set Options” activity.
The system displays the following in the “Standard Procedure Details” group box:

The standard procedure selected in the main page, for which the model effectivity must be defined. |
Std. Procedure Description |
The description of the standard procedure. |
SP Applicability |
Indicates whether the standard procedure is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”. |
Enter the following fields in the “Model Details” multiline:
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model for which the standard procedure is applicable (Alphanumeric, 20). Ensure that the aircraft model is already defined in the “Create Aircraft Model” activity and is in the “Active” status. The model number should be unique within the multiline. |

Help facility available. The system displays the base aircraft model number in the first line of the multiline. |
Note: Ensure that all the tasks that are included in the standard procedure are applicable for the aircraft model entered here. For more details on model effectivity for tasks, refer to the topic “Entering model effectivity details for the task – An overview”.
Ensure that the aircraft model in the multiline is unique for standard procedure and base model combination.
The system fills in the following fields on clicking the “Edit Model Effectivity” pushbutton:
Model Type |
The type of the aircraft model as defined in the “Aircraft” business component. |
Model Description |
The description of the aircraft model as defined in the “Aircraft” business component. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the model for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the models selected in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Model Effectivity” pushbutton to update the model effectivity details for the standard procedure.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Edit Aircraft Effectivity” link at the bottom of the page to identify the aircraft of the specified model, for which the task is applicable.
Entering model effectivity details for a standard procedure – An overview
In this page, you can define the model effectivity for the standard procedure, that is, indicate the applicability of the standard procedure for aircraft models. You can enter the aircraft models for which the standard procedure is applicable, and the corresponding model details are displayed in the multiline. The system updates the model effectivity details and sets the last modified date to the server date.
