Selecting access panel for modification

This page allow you to select the access panel to be modified and view its details. Tell me more

Select the “Edit Access Panel” link under the “Maintenance Task” business component.

The “Select Access Panel” page appears.

Enter the following field in the ”Direct Entry” group box , if you know the access panel number for which the modification has to be done:

Aircraft Model #	Use the drop-down list box to select the aircraft model to which the access panel is associated. The system lists all the “Active” aircraft models defined in the “Create Aircraft Model” activity of the “Aircraft” business component.
Access Panel #	The access panel number for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 50).

Select the “Edit Access Panel Details” link provided at the bottom of the “Search Results” multiline, to modify the access panel information.

Search for access panel

Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for an access panel. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Access Panel #	The access panel number for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 50). The system lists all the access panel numbers that are similar to the values entered here.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the access panel to be modified. The system lists the options “Active” and “Inactive”. The system retrieves all those access panel numbers that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of access panels irrespective of their status. The system leaves the field blank by default.
Aircraft Model #	The aircraft model to which the access panel is associated (Alphanumeric, 20). The system lists the access panels with the aircraft model number entered here.
Zone #	The zone to which the access panel is associated (Alphanumeric, 15). The system lists all the access panel numbers whose zones are similar to the one entered here.
Access Panel Description	The description of the access panel to be modified (Alphanumeric, 150). The system lists all the access panel numbers whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here.

Note: If all the fields are left blank, the system will list all the access panel numbers that are defined.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system fills in the following fields in the ”Search Results"multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Aircraft Model #	The aircraft model to which the access panel is associated.
Access Panel #	The number identifying the access panel.
Access Panel Description	The textual description of the access panel.
Status	The status of the access panel, which could be ”Active” or “Inactive”.
Zone #	The zone to which the access panel is associated.

Click the hyperlinked access panel number in the multiline, to modify the access panel details.

Selecting access panel for modification – An overview

You can select the access panel to be modified and view its details before modification. If you know the access panel number to be modified, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the access panel number, description or the status. The details of the selected access panel, such as its number, description and the status are displayed.
