Maintain Part Supplier Mapping – A summary of the activity

The “Maintain Part Supplier Mapping” activity allows you to associate multiple suppliers to a specific part. You can enter the code identifying the part to which suppliers must be associated. The system retrieves the part details and also the details of the suppliers who have already been mapped to the part. You can modify the existing supplier details. 

This activity also allows you to set certain default values for the part-supplier mapping such as the tolerance type, tolerance percentage, inspection type, matching type, lead time and the lead time units.

Supplier details, along with the purchase UOM, part cost, cost per part, supplier's part number and supplier's description of the part can be entered in the multiline.
