Create Stock Receipt Quick Codes – A summary of the activity

Stock Receipt - An Overview

Quick codes are user-defined values, used to categorize the stock receipts based on certain characteristics. The basic quick code types are defined in the system. This activity allows you to define the quick code values for the different quick code types. These values are used in the other stock receipt activities.

The quick code types such as “Receipt Category” and “User Status” are predefined in the system. Values can be defined for these quick code types. For example, the quick code type “Receipt Category” can contain quick codes such as “High Value” or “Low Value” and the “User Status” can contain quick codes such as “Authorized” or “Granted”.

You can define a quick code for a specific quick code type, by providing a unique identifier and a description for it. The quick code should be unique for the organizational unit. The system assigns the "Active" status as soon as the quick code is created and sets the created date and time to the server date and time.
