Modifying part group based pricing details

Select the “Edit Part Group based Pricing” link from the bottom of the “Edit Part Price List Details” page.

The “Edit Part Group based Pricing” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Part Price List Details” group box:

Part Price List #	The number identifying the part price list.
Description	The textual description of the part price list. Zoom facility available.
Revision#	The revision number of the part price list.
Status	The status of the part price list.
Currency	The currency of the part price list.

Enter the following in the “Default Details” group box to enter the price and the embodiment factor directly for the part group:

Price Factor	The default price factor for the part groups entered in the multiline (Decimal). Ensure that this value is positive.
Embodiment Factor	The amount levied on the customer for holding his goods in the warehouse. (Decimal).

Enter the following fields in the “Part Group Details” multiline:

Part Group

The code identifying the part group for which the pricing details must be recorded (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that the part group is already defined as “Controlled” part group in the “Part Administration” business component and it is in “Active” status.

Help facility available.

Condition

Use the drop-down list box to select the condition of the part as “New”, “Over Hauled”, “Serviceable”, ”Un-Serviceable” or “Phased Out”.

Note: If the part group is duplicated in the multiline, ensure that the condition of the part is unique.

The system displays the following:

Description

The textual description of the part group.

Enter the following fields:

Price Factor	The price factor of the part (Decimal). Ensure that this value is positive.
Embodiment Factor	The amount levied on the customer for holding his goods in the warehouse (Decimal).

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the part group.
Click the “Update Pricing” pushbutton to update the part group based pricing details.

Modifying part group based pricing details – An overview

You can specify the pricing details for part groups in this page. You can select the part group using the help facility. The part group must be of “Controlled” type and the purpose should be “Pricing”. For the selected part group, you can enter the price factor and the embodiment fee along with the part condition.
