This page allows you to view details of resources required for executing the work package. Tell me more.

The “Work Package Resource Requirement Information” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Work Package Details” group box:

Work Package #

The work package selected in the main page, for which the resource details must be displayed

Package Desc

The textual description of the work package.

Zoom facility available.

Primary Model #

The primary model specified for the work package.

Resource Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the resource for which the resource details must be displayed. The available options are "Skills”, “Tools”, ”Equipment” and “Others”.

The system displays the following in the “Resource Details” multiline:

Resource #

The resource required for executing the work package

Time Unit

The unit of measurement for the resource time, which could be “Minutes”, “Hours” or “Days”.

Est. Duration

The number of hours, minutes or days the resource is required, to execute the work package

Est. Quantity

The number of resources required for executing the work package

Approval Required (Y/N)

Indicates whether approval for using the resource is required or not. The system displays “Yes” or “No”.

Resource Description

Viewing resource requirement details for a work package – An overview

View work package - a summary of the activity

You can view the details of resources required for executing the work package, in this page. You can select the resource type and view the resource details. Details such as the resource code, resource type, time unit, estimated duration for which the resource is required, and the resource quantity are displayed by the system. The system also displays whether approval for using a resource is required or not.
