Viewing work unit relationship details for a work package
This page allows you to view the details of dependent work units for a primary work unit. Tell me more.
Select the “View Relationship Information” link at the bottom of the “View Aircraft Work Package” page.
The “View Relationship Information” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Work Package Details” group box:
Work Package # |
The work package selected in the main page, for which the relationship details are displayed. |
Package Desc |
The textual description of the work package. Zoom facility available. |
Primary Model # |
The primary aircraft model for which the work package is specified. |
Enter the following field in the “Work Unit Details” group box:
Work Unit # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the work unit for which the relationship details must be displayed. The system lists all the work units that are included in the work package. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the relationship details defined for the selected work unit in the multiline.
The system displays the following details.
Seq # |
The sequence number of the work unit. |
Work Unit Type |
The type of the work unit, which could be “Task” or “Standard Procedure”. |
Work Unit Desc |
The textual description of the work unit. Zoom facility available. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Predecessor Work Unit Details” multiline:
Seq # |
The sequence number of the work unit. |
Work Unit # |
The work unit that is related to the work unit selected in the “Work Unit Details” group box. |
Work Unit Type |
The type of the work unit, which could be “Task” or “Standard Procedure”. |
Relationship Type |
The relationship defined between the two work units. The relationship could be “Start – Start”, “Start – Finish”, “Finish – Start” or “Finish – Finish”. |
Time Unit |
The unit of measurement for the time allotted for the task or standard procedure. The time unit could be “Minutes”, ”Hours” or “Days”. |
Lag |
The time gap between the two work units. |
Note: The lag represents the time period between the two events described in the relationship. For example a work unit T1 having a preceding work unit T2 with a “Start - Start” relationship and a lag of 10days indicates that the task T1 can be started 10days after the task T2 has started.

Viewing work unit relationship details for a work package – An overview
Maintenance tasks and procedures that are included in the standard work package can contain relationships to one another.
This page allows you to view the details of work unit relationships. The type of relationship of the work unit to every other work unit together with the time lag, if any, is displayed.
